2. All in all the staff were friendly and helpful, and for the short amount of time we spent in the rooms, the negative points I have mentioned weren't really a big issue.

3. We did not hear any room-to-room noise at all (maybe because it is an older building with more solid construction), and the street noise was muffled and not an issue for us.

5. During the stay we had issues with lights, first off my bedside lamp stopped working, this was fixed within 10 minutes of me asking reception, and a few days later our bathroom light started flickering badly.

7. The bed was great and I have no issues with the room size as this is described by everybody on here and after all if you are spending all of your time in the room then you are not enjoying New York.

9. This wasn't too much of an issue in January when we could just turn it off but can imagine that it may get slightly annoying during the height of summerMy only issue with the hotel is with the minibar.

10. Instead the front desk staff offered to give us a room right away (although it was a full size bed instead of queen, we agreed to it because it wasn't a big issue for the 2 of us).
