1. Our view was of a fire escape and rolled up dirty tarps, but we were in NYC and we didn't care.
"Excellent hotel, excellent location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/7/2012 Vote
2. The few negatives that I can think of are that there are no ice machines, room didn't have a cordless phone, hotel charges a connection fee for Toll Free Calls, turndown service was not automatic and had to be requested, there was thick dust on the top of the dresser where I kept my luggage (my bag got dirty but was able to wash the dust off), and my sink was draining very slowly.

3. To actually be able to put your dirty stuff in a bag that doesn't rip a moment later is great.

5. Everything was neat and clean and if we had to pick something it would be that the shower tiles looked a little dirty - it was clean but I am assuming it is the wear and tear.

7. 'Other little annoyances; coffee and toiletries weren't replenished until I started leaving post-it notes for the housekeeper; I walked past a dirty glass that someone left in the hallway for three days before it was finally removed; the room was so small that it was nearly impossible to control the temperture, either it was sweltering with the AC off, or it immediately became refrigerated with the AC on; the bed was OK, but was in no way 'deluxe' or 'plush' as described by the hotel; the usual binder/guide to hotel amenities showed up on the third day of my stay.
"Smallest Rooms I've Ever Seen - Marginal Staff - Great Location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/2/2011 Vote
8. From the uninfomed front desk clerk, to the dirty linen and towels that remained in our room--even after having been reported numerous times--to the incentive of a Beatles wifi game as a part of our stay, which, by the way, we still have not received to this day.
"Warning! Enter the Hotel Mela at Your Own Risk! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/20/2011 Vote
9. ' Details was taken down and later I received a call in my room from the manager 'John', who tired to figure out how damp and dirty towel with pube could end up on our rack.
"Damp dirty towels and Bed bugs!... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/25/2011 Vote
10. Close inspection showed the towel dirty and damp and shampoo and conditioner etc wasn't replaced.
