Bad News: Very Old hotel , very dated fixtures and fittings, No dinner service , only bar snacks, no drinks available after 9pm , bedrooms and decor something out of 1980, bathroom probably 1970, service slow, breakfast a complete free for all as people charge around looking for tables and the swimming pool was , well more a bath, plus they charge a daily rate for parking yr car.

9. You can take a slow $1 shuttle to town but the reality of staying in Kona is that you need a car to see the most beautiful beaches that guides won't take you to.
