As to the inside of the hotel, there is nothing to write home about -- it feels dated and not well maintained (for example, the paint is peeling off in the bathtub in our room), and I can never get over the fact that Hawaiian hotels charge you separately for parking (to be fair, most Hawaiin hotels do), that is another expense you need to be aware of.
