1. The staff runs around clinking glasses loudly and picking up plates as soon as you take the last bite as if to remind you to tip them which hardly anybody does (We did).

4. Just would hope that the landscaping staff could time their lawnmowing for after the close of breakfast, as their mowers are loud and really invaded upon an otherwise peaceful morning start.

6. - don't room on the south side if you like to sleep in; the noise from the birds was loud as soon as the sun came up.

7. In addition, we got no sleep the first night due to being subjected to two different bands playing at the same time: loud rock and roll for the United way fund raiser in the bar/restaurant beneath us, and amplified Hawaiian music from a private party right under our windows.

8. The only slightly negative comment I have is that our room had an adjoining room linked with a connecting door which made it easier to hear some voices next door - fortunately it wasn't a loud family and really didn't bother us.

9. On Ali'i drive, but far away enough from busy & loud downtown Kona that it was quiet and peaceful and didn't feel like a tourist trap.
