2. The breakfast buffet was not great but not too bad and it was great to get up from breakfast and walk right to the beach next door and do some of the best snorkeling I've done in a while.

9. So that's about the run down, don't know if I'd stay here again if I were on the big island, but for the price it really wasn't too bad, but it was not that nice either for a place like Hawaii.

10. It is not possible to tell that the property was refurbished in 1999, as the building is in bad need of new paint, new carpeting, new elevators, tile resurfacing in the pool and lobby areas, and basically a complete makeover.
