1. The rooms are nice, although last time we stayed the carpet smelled slightly mildewy and reminiscent of a recent all night drinking and smoking party by prior guests.

2. Extra notesThere were only two negative things about my stay - there's a faint pet smell in the room which didn't bother me a whole lot but might set off someone's allergies and the hotel seems to sit in the flight path for an airport (international?) so planes fly overhead all day and night.

3. Furniture was ugly and many wires could be seen bellow the computer desk- the keyboard of the computer available was unstable lacking one support- the telephone was unstable lacking one support- I could not connect my laptop and I called the front desk that sent me to a central IS support team that I decided to quit after several tries- there was no table to place the plates we ordered- room smelled moldy- right after our arrival there was a technician knocking the door carrying a refrigerator to change the one in our room.

4. Aside from the free happy hour, goldfish and unmistakable Kimpton smell (mixture of spa, beach and forest), Brent at the Miami Kimpton really made this mom's trip.
