We asked our travel agent to put us into this hotel (based on TA reviews) as they had bkd us into a very
poorly
rated hotel in South Beach and as we were staying 3 nights pre cruise we didn't want to stay in a dive.

Way better than any of the overpriced, older,
poorly
managed, rude staffed hotels in South Beach.

I chose this hotel because it was rated first in Miami on TripAdvisor and because the Miami hotels in the Hilton, Starwood and Accor chains at which I normally stay were either
poorly
located or
poorly
rated on TripAdvisor.
