When I commented to front desk at the end of my stay about the
poor
valet service I'd had, the lady just smiled at me and said 'there are always problems with valet services'.

Views are great- Rooms were equipped with most modern amenities- Pool was lovelyOn the
poor
side- Room walls are very thin, and you can hear the neighbouring rooms- Getting the car from valet was a long process.

The breakfast was
poor
compared to European Hotels (they only offered fruits, cornflakes, toast and cruassants, coffee and juice) but at an additional cost you could order eggs, ommelettes and bacon.

I learnt that Zuma is only leasing space from the hotel, but as far as a guest is concerned, the restaurant belongs to the hotel and part of the experience and a
poor
one at that.

The restaurants in the hotel, and I expect hotels at this $200+ price range to have great restaurants, are
poor
.

What distinguishes excellent customer service from
poor
customer service is correcting the problem and following up with the guest.

The reason for the different star ratings between the InterContinental and the Epic is
poor
customer service at the InterContinental.
