1. construction, road noise, protesters, and the resurfacing machines that had half the pool area closed for our entire stay, made for an intolerable cacophony, even though we were facing the water and on the 28th floor.

3. One note, it is a relatively new construction, so in 2 different times when we took a cab around the area, the cab driver did not know where he was going and tried to rack up all these charges for driving around.

4. 1st stay was during opening when service was paramount because hotel was sorting through final construction2 years later it is a solid 3 star priced as a 4 or even 5 star.

7. On checkout I mentioned the construction issue, which was met with a shoulder shrug and a nothing we can do about it comment, which I can understand, but I would have preferred to know this ahead of time at booking.

8. Minor Nitpicking - Certain services in the hotel were still being constructed so unavailable, I was not there for pleasure and there is plenty to do otherwise I would have been upset over not having access to all the services stated on the hotel site.

9. construction - I was awakened every workday to what sounded like an angle grinder being used above our room.

10. When ordering room service I asked the waiter if there was construction in the hotel (since I wasn't fully convinced that I was correctly interpreting the noise I was hearing) and he replied that there was.
