2. ' The hotel staff we encounered were all friendly and accomodating: from the people at the reception desk, to the concierge who recommended a restaurant and made reservations for us, to the lovely woman who cleaned our room each morning.

6. Hallways looked new and clean and although rooms seem to have had touch up you can tell the bathrooms need abit more work, and the ceilings in the bedroom etc - but maybe they are next.

8. We found the bedrooms a little small for a family of four but to be honest we didnt spend much time in the rooms as we spent our five days out sightseeing from 8am to 6pm each day, but we returned each day to a hot shower, plenty of clean towels and a comfy bed.
