1. Hotel was very comfortable ith a great bed ,bathroom was marble with dual shower heads, we had a riverview room that was recommended to avoid street noise, room was still noisy from street traffic.

Bottom line:The location is great, the service is good, the rooms are good, and, nits aside, everything else is either good or very good, but unless I could get a riverside room (not noisy according to a colleague who stayed at the same time I did) I would think very carefully before I would consider staying in this hotel again.

7. Yes, we did the Alamo tour, walked on the river (a bit noisy and crowded on Friday night), ate some excellent meals, and met some very polite people who clearly love their city.

8. Location is excellent: right on riverwalk, but away from the noise (and it was crowded and noisy), not far from the Alamo and a half mile from the Mercado (check out the review of La Margarita).

9. River-view rooms with balconies have not been noisy, as in some hotels along the River.
