1. Room was pool view, we were slightly worried about previous reviews about the noise, however it did not bother us in the slightest,we were so tired by the end of the night sleep was never an issue.

4. The issue we had during our stay occurred on Monday afternoon mid-day after touring the parks in the morning when we returned to our room to take naps and some were heading to the pool.

5. pool area is the best thing about the hotel with a water slide and sunbathing areas it also has a pool bar and a games room we had some issues at check in room was not available till 8.

Pros: No waiting in lines during peak time of March Break at Universal Parks with Express Pass, friendly accommodating staff with five star customer service, clean rooms with new modern furnishings, comfortable beds, good size room for family of five, upgraded room for birthday, smooth check in/check outCons: One issue: Housekeeping did not come one day until late in the day (after 4pm); apparently the girl was stuck in meetings all day and was not able to clean her rooms The Housekeeping situation is the only reason I'm rating it a 4 rather than 5 star experience because in all other respects our experience at the hotel met or exceeded our expectations.

7. That said, if cleanliness is important to you, you might want to consider one of the other two on-site hotels until Hard Rock bucks up and deals with their housekeeping issues and updates the rooms.

8. I felt like I should report the issues directly to management (Steve) to make sure they were aware of their housekeeping issues and at least voice my dissatisfaction with the condition of the accomodations.

9. We stayed here one other time 2 years ago for Spring Break and had no issues.
