4. The room overlooking the street had 2 double beds and was very spacious and clean, the other 2 rooms (which had a shared interior door) were much smaller; one had a stand alone cupboard which took up a lot of floor space and it had a musty smelling bathroom.

5. The furniture is new and so are the mattresses and the fabrics including the curtains, but the walls, closet and doors date from 1927 and smell quite bad.

6. The bathroom was very upscale with a dual head shower, porcelain tub and pedestal sink, marble flooring, and plenty of fresh smelling, clean towels.

7. The only real downside is that the hotel is feeling its years - you could hear the traffic noise and feel the cold through the windows, the AC unit was ratty, the bathroom was tiny and had a strange smell.
