3. The elevators are slow and the lobby while pretty large is not the kind of old hotel lobby where you can sit in an easy chair and strike up a conversation with a fellow guest.

6. Normally, I enjoy old hotels and am patient with some of the challenges such as tiny rooms, smaller bathrooms, slow elevators (elevators here are fast).

9. People complained about the elevators being slow, but again this is a large 1920s hotel, so it is to be expected.

10. If I had to complain, the elevators were a bit slow, we had to evacuate on our last night due to a fire alarm going off, and housekeeping did not refill our towels or amenities one day.
