1. The only downside is the acoustics, you can hear the guests talking in the corrider and if you are sensitive to noise it can be very disturbing.

7. The only two downsides I can think of- if I had been traveling with my two small children getting in and out of the lobby involves a few steps so pushing a stroller would be a bit of a hassle, but the doormen are so wonderful I am sure they would help open doors and such.

8. The only slight downside was that there was a huge corporate group staying who commandeered the two bars which meant we couldn't get a nightcap when we got back around 11pm - certainly not the hotel's fault, just meant the Scots couldn't get their nightly dram before bed.
