By all means stay at the Lenox but
avoid
the Irish bar at all costs, there are plenty of other bars across the road which actually do resemble an actual Irish bar in character and scenery.

I could not wait to check out and leave; I will never stay at the Lenox again and I advise anyone else who wants a good night's sleep to
avoid
it as well.

We usually
avoid
hotel restaurants since they are often overpriced and pretentious but not City Table.

We arrived from London quite late in the evening, fairly tired and forget our usual request at check-in - 'a room away from the elevators and ice machines' to
avoid
the noise.

Let me put it this way, the bathroom was so small that you had to maneuver onto the toilet to
avoid
injury and hitting the wall.

You don't really need a car in Boston and I suggest that visiters do NOT rent a car while staying in the city if they can
avoid
it.
