1. My only small gripe is with the bathroom which ,like granny's, is rather out dated, even though the marble is still beautiful.

The Lenox looks like and is one of the old, Grande Dame, hotels, but it is sparklingly kept up, from finishes to uniforms, and the staff was unfailingly young, friendly and helpful - for example the concierge got us a moved reservation at a top restaurant during hectic restaurant week when it had been all my fault in giving her wrong date initially.
