Warned on the coach about the Tenderloin area but found it amazingly easy to take the '
wrong
turn' and find yourself in the
wrong
area.

It is on the edge of a seedy part of town, so you need to be careful that you don't walk the

way at night.

wrong
with the Hotel Carlton.

We were going to take the free hotel car to the train at Powell Street and something was

There are some cute coffee shops within a few blocks, but if you walk a few blocks in the
wrong
direction you're in a really sketchy neighborhood.
