) but it does border Tenderloin which is the not so nice area of San Francisco, but we didn't feel in any

The TenderNob location provides for easy access to main attractions, and the staff is very helpful both in directing guests to public transport and in avoiding the more
dangerous
parts of the nearby Tenderloin district.

It's very close to many bars, it's fun for having a drink but very late at night gets a bit
dangerous
, not recommended to walk in the streets to the south of the hotel.

As for the neighborhood, this is not exactly Nob Hill, but on the other hand, it is not
dangerous
and the hotel is adjacent to some of the best Thai and Vietnamese food I've eaten.
