4. Even though the hotel was recommended by a business associate who stayed there previously, I would guess that since then the Hotel Carlton has had to cut back on upkeep of the property in San Francisco's difficult times.

8. 30pm was quite difficult (with the exception of the hotel restaurant), although we found the same when we went to Sacramento - perhaps thats how it is there??Don`t use the room `phone - too expensive.
