1. We enjoyed our experience at this hotel- the staff was extremely friendly, joking at check-in and came to answer any problems.

2. We moved rooms for the next 3 nights and although we didn't have light and noise from an adjoining room all of the other problems were the same.
"Sleepless inSF. Fire engines, ambulances, light coming into room from in/outside. Rubbish beds. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/21/2012 Vote
3. Our view was towards a wall, and our friends view was towards the street and a parking lot, and they had a noise problem at night, so if you are a light sleeper, request a room on the back of the hotel.

5. Finally, the walls where superthin, which is a problem when the cleaning ladies start at 8 AM sharp.

6. Usually this wasn't a problem except for some of the other guests who have very little consideration for other people on the floor.

7. Part of the problem is that the wall are thin, and you can literally see underneath the door to the hall.
"Boutique hotel meets youth hostel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/21/2011 Vote
8. Our only complaint is that the walls seemed to be on the thin side, meaning that noise was a problem at times - we could hear the next room's TV and other guests' conversations when they rocked in at 2am (yes drunk American girl with the relationship issues, I mean you).
"Good location and good value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/18/2011 Vote
9. 8 hour time difference is more of a problem than street noise in my view :)* Valet parking is pretty expensive at over $30 a night.
"good hotel, will definitely visit again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/18/2011 Vote
10. The Tenderloin is just blocks south but we never went into the area and never had any problems even when we were out at night walking in the area.
