1. We arrived at this hotel flustered after the GPS put us on the wrong side of the street and we had to figure out how to negotiate the one way streets to get back.

2. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, safe and centrally located hotel while staying in San Francisco, with a bit of old charm and a cute little ducky to perk up your bathroom, you cannot go wrong with the Chancellor Hotel.

3. The cookies did seem to hang around under a plastic dome for some time, they appeared not be home baked (although I apologise if I'm wrong).

4. The room size was akin to New York, so we weren't surprised - though the oversized lampshade that kept getting bashed by the curtains was probably the wrong thing to have in there.

5. I got this hotel through Hotwire and I was unaware about the 'No king beds' After looking at the web site of the Hotel I knew I was wrong on my previous review.

8. Be careful though, the car park is a little difficult to find and we heard one couple complain that they had used the wrong park and had been charged the full overnight rate.
