How about the dripping faucet? The dim room, the old CRT TV, and the
outdated
furniture fitted the old style hotel well.

As others have said, The Whitehall feels very European--aka the rooms are small, the furnishings a little
outdated

outdated
TV and the foot of the bed.

That room, while still well
outdated
in its decorating and furnishing, didn't have the stuffing coming through the chair seat material nor ceilings falling in.

outdated
and worn, we wondered what was wrong with the management and hotel.

There is a huge difference between good traditional furnishings and worn,
outdated
furniture.
