2. The curtains wouldn't close, the door was extremely hard to shut, a switch in the bathroom was just a stick, and, worst of all, there was no place to plug in my computer.

3. We were moved to another room ( very small) where the bed was hard as a rock but a matress topper was put on (probably eight years ago) and was soft and lumpy between the people and still hard where you lay.

4. It was with a certain amount of reluctance I allowed our staff to book me in this hotel given the very hot and cold reviews, hard to know what to make of this hotel and I suspect the owners/operators have the same problem.

6. Moderately priced yet decent hotels in Chicago are hard to come by in the summertime, so we thought we'd try this one, which seemed to have overall positive reviews.

9. Still, like any elegant in the 1950/1960s property, the furniture was drake-ish (antique, slightly worn, headboard wasn't on straight), electrical outlets were hard to locate, and I had one incorrect bellhop interruption (wrong room).
"Unexpectedly nice " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/26/2010 Vote
10. The rooms are a bit dark and the bed was extremely hard.
"Great Location - "Decent" hotel for the price, but call hotel directly and speak to someone on-site!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/19/2010 Vote
