5. Even the views out of the windows were nice, have stayed at other high rise hotels where all you see is one other building This was the roomiest hotel I`ve ever stayed in and I was shocked that it was in NYC.

6. I travelled with my friend so the room was suitable for what we required although it was a shock to find that the electricity wasn`t strong enough to power my GHD hair straighteners or our hairdryer,but one was supplied in the room.

7. Door to the junior suite failed to lock half the time unless properly jiggled but it was still shocking to come home to a wide open door at 1 a.

First impression at 11pm arrival was shock at the tiny, institutional looking lobby, and horror after transporting my own luggage upstairs (security guard/bellman had gone on break) at the depressing, shabby, filthy two double bed (despite request for one king) studio suite - located between the elevator, gym and compactor - that cost $400 for the first night.
