1. With the furnishings being a little outdated, you are then able to get the room at a terrific price for NYC.

2. The room decor was outdated and the mattresses were sagging but the room was clean and included a kitchenette which was nice to store leftovers and basics like milk and juice.

10. You just have to accept this, lower your standards BIG TIME, unless you are prepared to spend an awful lot of money, expect small rooms, outdated facilites and no frills for a Manhattan hotel.
