3. After coming home I looked up 'mold Sickness in Hawaii' on the internet and found out this is a common problem, especially now when all the rooms have a low occupancy problem and they turn off the A/C when not occupied leaving longer periods for mold to grow in the moist, warm environment.

However, last October in the 6000 wing (North wing) at ground level we discovered mold under the air conditioner that had been there a long time and was well known by management who withheld the information from the guests and continued to rent the rooms knowing there was mold in a whole line of rooms.

My room was not ready, had to wait till after check in time, there was mold on my door frame in the room, carpet was old and slightly torn up, bed was to be a comfort, pillow top, it was springy with a dip in the middle, dust was very apparent, coffee maker didn’t work, then had to wait almost 45 min to get another one.
