1. It is difficult for me to accurately rate this hotel as my family and I only spent one night there before we moved to larger accommodations in Wailea.

2. so I found it difficult to maneuver in some tight spots as there were also a lot of sea urchins to look out for.

3. If you don't have the money (or points) to stay at one of the top resorts on Maui then I would recommend staying in a condo for sure because it can't be that difficult to find one that would top the Sheraton - we love the one that we stay at in Kihei as it's small, peaceful, has incredible views and is easily 1/2 the price of a room at the Sheraton (even though we have many SPG points, we all said we'd rather pay for something else than stay here again).
"Didn't care for this hotel - very average " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/6/2012 Vote
4. I also didn't care much for the pool itself and the setup of the pool must have made it difficult for parents to watch their children because we noticed kids swimming all throughout the pool and especially the slide area, which was not visible from the kiddie pool, with no parental supervision (they were too busy sipping on their pina coladas and sunning themselves to care what their kids were doing apparently).

7. Hawaii experienced a few heavy rains while we were there which caused the water to be very silty and difficult to see in so skip on snorkeling after a rainy day.
"Amazing Three Weeks in Maui " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/16/2011 Vote
8. I mean, is it really that difficult to be on time for a luxury hotel? The pool was/is actually nice, but also there I have to mention some points where Sheraton may could (should?) improve.
"almost perfect . . . " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/30/2011 Vote
9. If you have a difficult walking and want to be nearer the restaurants then request a closer room - the hotel is very large and spread out so lots of walking.
