3. One caveat: The location is only a few blocks from the National Mall, closest to the Freer Museum, but it's on the 'wrong' side of the Mall and requires a healthy walk to most attractions, whether government buildings, museums or restaurants.

9. ergo, probably not checked after departure of previous guest(s)], problem with room charge to credit card [two identical holds put on card for same charge], expensive business center with limited hours of operation [$10 for 15 minutes], banquet food service terrible [plates were yanked away without asking, if you were talking to someone, even if you had a fork in your hand], small spots in room carpet [that certainly could have been spotted-out], after first night wrong side of bed turned down [should have remembered from first night], Front Desk did not care when I mentioned all problems, etc.
"Poorly Run Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2010 Vote
10. The worst part is that we just returned from the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh and thought our country might have something similiar -- we were wrong.
