8. They were supposed to provide us some sort of compensation as a result, according to the front desk manager with whom I finally spoke, but no one ever followed up to ensure that out wireless internet was working properly and/or to offer us any sort of compensation for our trouble.

10. However, the cabled-internet socket that was in the leg of the desk was not functional either, and we had to call the technical service to fix it (or, rather, to tell us that we should rather use the wall socket directly; the front desk were the ones who told us to use the desk-leg socket).
