4. The hotel reeks of old-world class - fresh flowers everywhere, five-star amenities (although I think their designation of their "spa" is a bit generous given it's size) are great - but the best part about this property is its people.

9. Had the amenities you expect in a nice hotel: bathrobe, slippers, in-room safe, umbrella (very appreciated in the pouring rain), coffee in the lobby, etc. With the combination of large & comfortable rooms & excellent service, will definitely stay next time I'm in Houston.
