1. I had a minor niggle in the restaurant about breakfast and they immediately took the charge off of my bill and then called my room afterwards to apologise.

4. That bill contained every item we ordered, and we just added the (small) tip and signed it, showing the total as only the value of the tip; this is often the case at FHR properties, where only the tip is usually added to your bill.

5. In this case though, they billed us for everything (juice, bread, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.) and discounted the price of the menu item called 'the continental', which only had juice, pastries and coffee.

6. Always delivered expediently and never asked to sign a bill, helping to avoid that awkward wait while trying to determine what is included and how to tip.

7. Regis hotels I`ve stayed inWhen confronted with the above, the general manager was extremely arrogant and refused to even engage in a discussion with me, especially seeing as I had already paid my bill.

8. Beware if you are at the pool and order anything at all, it all comes from room service so there is a $4 delivery charge as well as 21% service charge added to the bill (even if you just order drinks).
