1. In terms of the conveniences offered, wireless internet, all-day coffee, tea and snacks, wine and cheese in the evening and a very nice breakfast are all complementary.

3. Also as a great leg up on the big chains, the WiFi and breakfast were complimentary - you just don't get that at hotels anymore, and I think it doesn't make any sense to pay $300+ for a room and be charged $20 for Internet as if it is some sort of crazy person's extra need.

6. Building has old charm, but rooms are modern, with state of the art amenities (flat screen TV, DVD, CD, free wifi throughout), extremely well maintained, and with a killer breakfast (not to mention the afternoon free wine and cheese reception!).

7. The free Wifi was welcome, and had a very strong signal compared to our previous hotel in SF (Orchard), which was uselessly intermittent.
