1. Not only is the property immaculate, in a quiet safe neighborhood, and full of San Fran charm, with an outstanding complimentary breakfast and wine reception (both way beyond expectations) but the real stars are the staff who understand hospitality at a level I have never experienced.

But I have to say, what has impressed me so much about this hotel, day in and day out, is the attention to detail and the little touches they offer their guests, such as the complimentary breakfast, which is incredible, and the complimentary wine and cheese each night, the daily delicious cookies placed in the room and just a real friendly, wanting to please, staff.

9. Also as a great leg up on the big chains, the WiFi and breakfast were complimentary - you just don't get that at hotels anymore, and I think it doesn't make any sense to pay $300+ for a room and be charged $20 for Internet as if it is some sort of crazy person's extra need.
