1. Lastly some recommendations for dinner all of which were excellent are Elite cafe and bar in Filmore Street, Baker & Banker ( superb ) on the corner of Octavia & Bush, and Bistro Aix in Steiner Street around the corner from CHestnut Street.

2. It is a nice 10 minute walk to Union Street which has loads of nice bars, and boutique shops.

3. The only negatives i have about the place are it was a long way from anywhere & taxis never take you the direct route so they are expensive, & it doesnt have a bar so although there is wine & cheese early evening, it would have been nice to stop off at a bar before bed time.

8. The only thing we felt it missed was a bar as there were a couple of nights where we'd been out all day and fancied staying for a couple of drinks in the hotel But overall a very small price to pay for one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

9. The free cheese and wine reception in the evening is a great idea as the hotel does not have a bar and the snacks provided were lovely.
