1. It's a nice neighborhood to walk through and look at the architecture and gardens, and the hotel was within walking distance to Fillmore Street, which has some great little restaurants and an eclectic variety of shops.

6. Lastly some recommendations for dinner all of which were excellent are Elite cafe and bar in Filmore Street, Baker & Banker ( superb ) on the corner of Octavia & Bush, and Bistro Aix in Steiner Street around the corner from CHestnut Street.

7. A stylish hotel well located at the 'top of the town' if you like to walk & explore and enjoy lovely streets, close to Presidio park and after staying first time at Fishermans Wharf - staying at Pacific Heights is a must.

10. My suggestion would be that upon arrival the hotel could provide a small map of the immediate surrounding streets to show where parking can be found and the schedule of street cleaning, resident parking hours, etc. This would be an easy problem to avoid in the future and one that no doubt is costing the hotel repeat customers.
