3. Breakfast, included in the price (and your local friends can join you for a small fee!), is brilliant, and a good place to meet and mingle with other guests, who seemed to be from all over the world.

It is well located right on the peak of Pacific Heights, the rooms were good, you can go for a walk, you can be down town in about 10 minutes by car (an hour or less walking), the staff were excellent and they will arrange a car for you (ask for August) at a reasonable price if you want to go out in the evening, go to the airport or whatever.

9. I found the location slightly inconvenient at times - it's a bit of a walk to shops, restaurants and transport, when it's raining at night and you're on your own, but it's a small price to pay to be in such a magnificent neighbourhood.

10. The only thing we felt it missed was a bar as there were a couple of nights where we'd been out all day and fancied staying for a couple of drinks in the hotel But overall a very small price to pay for one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.
