2. It's not a normal full-service hotel -- there is not a valet, a restaurant or room service, although the hotel offers a big continental breakfast and sandwhiches at other times of day.

3. You do have to self park, no valet but we had no trouble finding street parking for our Chevy Tahoe so this was actually a plus because most SF hotels charge $40 or more for parking.

4. I can`t say enough about this neighborhood, it`s so nice to stay in San Francisco, and not have to deal with the crowds, haggling for a cab, or waiting for a valet to bring your car- we checked out, leisurely walked to our car, and agreed that we`d return very soon.
