7. The location is second to none having the Magnificent Mile and State Street but a two minute walk away in opposite directions as one leaves through the main entrance.

Overall I recommend the hotel because:-spacious room and bathroom-quiet -architectually interesting-excellent breakfast (the only meal I ate)-friendly, helpful service-luxurious amenities (Frette linens and towels, Hermes bath products, Bose, etc)-nice location-walking distance to shopping, attractions and restaurants yet quiet street-decent value for the quality of hotel -comfortable bed.

9. Super well located, easy and safe walk to everywhere I wanted to go - all of the Michigan Avenue shopping, Rush Street, Looking Glass Theater, Museum of Contemporary Art, Art Institute, etc.I reserved a 'low' floor room, and upon arrival was assigned Room 1709 (17th Floor) which had a fabulous city view looking straight east down Chestnut Street to the John Hancock Building two blocks away.
