The day before we were due to leave we asked reception what time checkout was and we were told 12 noon, we asked if there was anywhere we could leave our cases until we had to leave at 3pm and we were immediatley given a late 3pm checkout (again free of charge) which meant we could enjoy our last few hours in New York and then freshen up for our journey home.
