2. The bathroom was small with a shower over the shallow bath and clearly well used but again it was kept very clean by housekeeping.

4. Cleanliness - decent but nothing to shout about, couldn't figure out if the toilet was leaking or the chambermaid had left residue from the cleaning liquid but dropping a line to housekeeping resolved it, if not permanently just temporarily, which was good enough for us.

6. The lobby staff was very helpful and efficient in keeping the large crowds of tour groups moving, and housekeeping was responsive to our requests for more towels and extra pillows.

7. Me and boyfriend stayed there for two weeks and every day the housekeeping cleaned our room, if i wanted more towels, when i come back there were 10 towels waiting for me in the bathroom.

8. Housekeeping did a great job - considering its a, lets say, 'older' hotel (not old but not new in comparison to others), its very clean and the rooms are quite modern and alot nicer than and make up for the first impressions you get with the corridors.

10. I then asked to speak to the Duty Manager who gave me the same line about the hotel being full, offerd us a free breakfast the following morning and suggested that someone from housekeeping would come to change the sheets although he didn't really think that there was a problem as 'we don't iron our sheets'.
