3. All in all, if this is the area you want to stay in, this hotel offers some good bargains and I would go there again.

4. If you want shopping do try Century 21 which is opposite ground zero, it like TK Max USA, if you have the time it is great for a few bargains, but get there early it gets really busy.

8. 3 mins walk from 7th Ave E train (for quick connection to the AirTrain to JKF airport - 1hr and for $7.25 each it's a bargain if you're not travelling with children/lots of luggage)- Plenty of affordable 24hr delis and diners (thoroughly recommend Applejack Diner on corner of 55th St & Broadway, also Steak & Shake a few doors down - 5 mins walk from hotel)- Clean (apart from cockroach in bath) and decent size standard double room with flatscreen TV- Emailed prior to arrival asking for high floor with view.
