1. I didn't mind because the housekeeper gave me plenty of bath towels and I used that to clean up the water.
"First time in NYC! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/25/2012 Vote
2. 3 mins walk from 7th Ave E train (for quick connection to the AirTrain to JKF airport - 1hr and for $7.25 each it's a bargain if you're not travelling with children/lots of luggage)- Plenty of affordable 24hr delis and diners (thoroughly recommend Applejack Diner on corner of 55th St & Broadway, also Steak & Shake a few doors down - 5 mins walk from hotel)- Clean (apart from cockroach in bath) and decent size standard double room with flatscreen TV- Emailed prior to arrival asking for high floor with view.
"Excellent location, clean and polite staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/22/2012 Vote
3. 2 double beds with wall in between and 2 full baths (small, but nice) since we have 4 ladies staying in this 1 room.
"Wonderful Stay at Wellington " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/27/2012 Vote
4. Nice bathroom with shower over bath, plenty clean towels and toiletries, which were replenished frequently.

5. With the exception of the baths which have been redone , the rooms photograph a lot better than they really are but they were very clean and comfortable, and ultimately to be able to afford a clean and comfortable room in such a centrally located area is more important to us than a luxury room that you use for such a limited amount of time.
"Good Value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/8/2011 Vote
6. I cleaned the bath myself and cringed when I got in the shower.
"Location that is it. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/22/2010 Vote

8. It was extremely quiet, with a beautiful marble bath, terrific water pressure, a clean, quiet suite with bedroom, living room, and kitchenette with fridge, sink, and microwave.
"Great Value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/8/2010 Vote
9. Nevertheless, as a place to sleep, bathe and store your stuff in New York, the Wellington can be okay.
"Okay but there are better " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/5/2009 Vote
10. The rooms are dated, I was in a very large 2 x double bedrooms, although not very bright, phone not working in one and light not working in the other, the bathroom was spotless, with a large bath and shower.
"Location, location, location " Read full review on YahooTravel   5/21/2009 Vote
