1. Consequently no clean towels, no fresh coffee packets, and unmade beds were an unpleasant surprise, otherwise very good ratings would have been moved up to excellent.

3. When checking out, I mentioned that our stay had been rather unpleasant and that the hotel seemed drastically understaffed - the hotel response? No apologies, no attempt to correct the situation, just a 'Yeah, we really are.
