1. My room was in the main building at the corner, but it was so noisy, right in front of Hard Rock Cafe, throughout the night, although the view was good.

3. The lobby is large and noisy and the bar in the center is a bit pricey as is the valet parking but the great room and location of this hotel more than make up for it.

4. I generally get rooms on the Concierge floor or 'junior suites' Some of these, located on the highest floors (meaning the junior suites) are below the A/C for the property so they are very noisy.

These large, convention-type hotels tend to host large, noisy groups, so we still prefer smaller hotels, and prefer the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood to downtown, but we scored a great rate via Priceline, so we can't complain, especially because the hotel is across the street from Reading Terminal Market, which beats room service.
