Things we enjoyed: the price; the cleanliness of the rooms; the location and environs (very safe area); the hot tub (notwithstanding the lack of bubbles); the pool (when the heat was working); the housekeeping service; the pleasant front desk staff (despite the two-hour check-in); the french fries in the pool snack bar.

2. The next morning we called the company we had booked the holiday through, who were also not very impressed at the lack of customer service.

4. What I have issued with is the cockroach that ran across the counter, the lack of english-speaking employees, the fact that we had to go to the hotel laundry facility and get our own towels because by the time the maid got to our room, she was out and does not go back to restock her supply.

6. The lack of WiFi in the room was a bit of a problem but it was available for free in reception which was a short walk away and very easy to access.

To summarise bad points; luck of the draw to room standard (some rooms are cockroach infested and need updating), wifi not available in rooms away from reception, lack of reception staff, lack of customer service (no apology offered for our inconvenience and long queuing to check-in, check-out or queries).

Although i didn't use the pool it seemed very clean to me and was very popular with fellow holidaymakers, the only fault i can find with this hotel is the lack of sun-loungers, i quickly found out that the trick was to wake up early (around 8ish) and place your towel on a sun-lounger, it was great because it meant i could go out shopping in the morning and come back to sun-bathe in the afternoon.

10. Also In our block only one of the ice machines worked and as lots of people wanted ice (due to lack of mini fridges in the rooms(unless you pay more for a room with one, which were all booked out)) the ice machine was often empty.
