1. The only negative is the facility is a little 'tired' in some areas and does not sparkle like newer Mandarins we have visited.

3. We had stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Singapore before this, but this was the first time we experienced being met at our car and escorted personally not only to the check-in desk, but then escorted by the desk clerk from check-in up to our rooms -- very lovely stay -- no negatives to report.

4. Unless the number of negative comments is so overwhelming , the honor of a personal reply from a member of senior management would be more suitable to a hotel seeking premier status.

5. first of all the negative points: when we arrived our room was not free anymore and we got a cheaper room (but paid the FULL price) and had to move to our room the next day; this is not admissible for Mandarin Oriental standards.

6. The only negative about the hotel is that the beach and pool are both smaller than they appear on the website, so you may be a bit disappointed if your main goal in visiting Miami is to soak up the sun.
