1. The weather wasnt the best so we spent time in the Spa and the Gym, not a bad thing.

But the shower is poor (I like strong water shower), the amenities are 3-star quality, the TV had some channels that simply had bad tune (and the hotel is unable to solve it), the air conditioner was impossible to set the perfect temperature, room service takes forever and, the worst, the service at breakfast was unaceptable (the waiter forgot to bring us spoons we asked 3 times.

3. Ubiquitous and disturbing smell of camphor bad spatial organization : concierge is in front of the entrance but the front desk is hidden in the left corner.

Room was very large and appointed w/ a great flat screen TV and stereo system, a high end power plug system for computers, an extra wide porch/veranda (6th floor), two double beds as I had a bad cold, a beautiful bathroom w/ marble tile everywhere, a beautiful view across the bay hot, very nice shower and comfortable beds.

8. Also for such a big hotel the pool size is a bit disappointing and when the hotel is full really only usable as a 'plunge pool 'What also is a very bad habit in the Miami area is to just include 18% tip on everything independently of the service .

(no big deal) although we still decided to change out of this room because even though it was a bay room category it was facing more of the city and downtown area also there was a really bad smell that came from the water by the bridge going into the key (not the hotel's fault i'm sure but still not nice when you are paying that type of price for a hotel.

10. bad bits My phone went missing from my room on day three, I left it on the bed went to the pool for 2 hours when I returned to the room the phone was gone.
