Perhaps they could have sent someone out with a tray of drinks and an explanation for the
delay
? Perhaps they could have provided a voucher for dinner?Anyway, the hotel was clean, modern, convenient and perfect as a transit stopover.

in our ininerary and subsequently needed a complimentary overnight stopover.
